FON radio is honored to have Kadrian play an all vinyl set straight from the archives of Latin Gold Records. Founded by Kadrian, the son of Salvadoran and Cuban immigrants, Latin Gold Records is an online record store and Los Angeles-based pop-up that specializes in Latin music across the diaspora and anything that catches the ear from funk to punk, rock to jazz, world to weird, and all the notes in-between. A sampler of iconic Latin songs across different genres and eras - from salsa to rhumba, boogaloo to Bad Bunny - this all vinyl DJ set (Kadrian's first one ever) was inspired by his parents, who bonded over their shared love for Latin music while working at a jewelry store in the 80s called Latin Gold. He dedicates his set to his wife and daughter, whose support for his passion amplifies Latin culture across generations.
